Dustin Johnson’s Improved Putting
During a hiatus from professional golf, Dustin Johnson took the time to take two of his weaknesses and made them strengths. He went from one of the best ball strikers, longest hitters on tour, that couldn’t win because of his wedge play and putting to one of the best wedge players and an above average putter.
We are nearly half way through the PGA season, and DJ currently ranks 19th in strokes gained putting. This is a guy that just a handful of seasons ago was ranked lower than 140th in SG Putting. He undoubtedly got there through hard work, but he certainly isn’t hitting a bad putter.
